OpenSpark broken, taken offline

Wednesday, October 20th, 2010

As anticipated, OpenSpark is now officially broken, due to the considerable redesign of the XBox Live website. I have removed the app from the Android Market, and added a warning to the project page.

OpenSpark warning

Tuesday, October 19th, 2010

Joystiq has reported that XBox.com is expected to undergo a makeover tonight/tomorrow. Please note that if the changes are substantial enough (and from the look of the screen caps, they seem to be), Spark may be rendered useless for the foreseeable future.

Until Spark is updated to work with the new site, it may be rendered inoperative in parts, or as a whole. If that happens, the application will be taken off Android Marketplace until it’s fixed.

SMS Plus PSP version 1.3.1 released

Saturday, October 16th, 2010

New in this version:

  • Support for TMS9918-based display modes, making games like F16 Fighting Falcon and Rozetta no Shouzou playable
  • Modified controls are now saved automatically

Many thanks to Charles MacDonald, the author of SMS Plus, for his help on getting TMS9918 games to restore correctly.
